FAQs

Is there an extra charge for this service?

No this is a FREE program for any patients who want to enroll!

How will my medications all get on the same cycle?

We will short fill your medications to all end on the same date and then fill them for you every month or every 3 months depending on your preference and what insurance allows.

Do I have to call in my refills still?

No, unless it is a medication that is taken AS NEEDED all your regular medications will be on your med sync program for you. You should still request as needed medications when you're running low.

What are my responsibilities when I am in the program?

You should always update us when there are any medication changes, call if you're missing a regular medication, and be available to answer phone calls. Otherwise, it's just important to take all your medications as prescribed and pick up your med sync in a timely fashion.

Monthly Medication Packaging

We offer monthly medication cards to help you stay on track with all your medications. The pharmacy will handle getting refills and placing all regular medications inside the appropriate packs for you. These packs follow the calendar so it's easy to see if you have missed doses or not each day. It also cuts down on the stress and confusion of organizing medications on your own.

FAQs

Is there an additional fee for this service?

Yes- there is a charge from $10-$30 per month for the packaging. **There are assistance funds available if you cannot fit this into your budget but need help with your medications please call and inquire for more information.

What if I get a new medication in the middle of the month?

We will take your packs and add or remove medications at no additional charge. We can also just give you a short supply in a bottle if it's close to your next pack date.

What if I take other medications like inhalers or creams?

These medications will be filled at the same time as the medication packages, but obviously cannot go in the packs. Medications taken "as needed" are usually not put in the packs either so we will keep those in a bottle and fill when you need them too.
